My Little Girl is 5!

My youngest daughter turned five today, where did the years go?  I made this card for her.  She has been going on about mermaids for a while, so I thought she would like this image - Ariel Littlest Mermaid by Yampuff.  She has her images on Deviant Art and you can download many for free!

I did a little bit of experimenting with the colouring this time, so I'm not 100% happy with it.  However, I am really happy with the layout and colours I have used for that.  Thanks for stopping by to have a look.

C for Case this Card

This fortnight we are asking you Case our Cards from 2012 over at ABC Christmas Challenges.  That means, we want you to choose one of the cards made by a DT member last year and use it for inspiration.  My card was inspired by Samantha's half-way card for K is for Keep it Simple in May last year.  I used the layout and white on white concept as my inspiration.  My image is "Snow Blower" from Saturated Canary, the sponsor for this month.

and the card I cased ......

I look forward to seeing what you all create!  Thanks for stopping by and have fun!

Guest Designer

For those of you who have been following my blog, I created a card using the Lili of the Valley stamp "Party Presents".  It was made specifically for entry in the ABC Christmas Challenges DT call, but I also entered it in a number of challenges.  Well, over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenges I was randomly selected for a guest designer spot for their current challenge of Circles.  The card I made was for a friends birthday, so the colours I selected are her favourite.  I have used another Lili of the Valley image, "Sunny days and Smiles" and I followed the "Deconstructed Sketch No. 86" which fitted perfectly with the circle theme.

Thanks for dropping by and remember that the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge runs for another week, so why not enter?
